Blackjack Tip
By Casey Dorion
If you play Blackjack, here is something you may find interesting. If your first 2 cards are a hard 12 and the dealers up card is a 4, 5 or 6, consider doubling down on your hard 12. Here's why: the dealer has to hit and possibly break. If you hit the hard 12, there are 4 cards that will break you, the tens. There are 9 cards that will not break you. Therefore, the odds are 9 to 4 that you will not break. Basic Strategy says to stand, I know, but if you have seen a lot of ten cards go by, this may be the play. Just something to think about P.S. You may want to sit at the dealers right, that way you can see the cards that have come out and watch for the 10 cards.
